Mission

To prevent the people of the Mainland North Area of the HRM from being harmfully involved with drugs, alcohol, tobacco and gambling through prevention, education, advocacy and promotion of healthy lifestyles.

Beliefs

We believe:

• That every person has a right to be treated with respect and dignity.

• That every person has the capacity to make well informed judgements regarding drugs, alcohol, tobacco and gambling.

• We have a responsbility to advocate on behalf of those who are harmfully involved or at risk of becomming harmfully involved with drugs, alchol, tobacco or gambling.

Volunteer

Join us in our efforts towards a healthier community. Attend our monthly meetings where you can discuss issues related to substance abuse and gambling within your community, and get involved in creating and executing projects designed to counter their harmful effects. We are a friendly and flexible group, and we are always looking for new energy and ideas!
