motivating through the use of music and celebrity speakers.

DrunkBuster Goggles for use as part of classroom
presentations on the impairing influence of alcohol.

distributed "Don't Drink and Drive" placemats to
neighbourhood eating establishments.

Supported
the NSLC “Colourful Messages” Program. Students in grades
4-8 drew colourful messages on brown liquor store bags to
remind adults to use alcohol responsibly.

Distributed
attractive Safe Grad key fobs to those at a "safe
graduation" at Halifax West High School in June.

Staffed
information booths at two events in local schools where we
presented baskets of prizes donated by local businesses.
Participants had to fill out a short multiple choice
questionnaire about drugs.

active in raising funds to cover the costs of these
activities and others in the planning stages. We are
presently seeking more committee members.
